Hotel/Hospitality Management as a field requires aspirants to possess good communication skills as well as an impressive personality. Due to globalization the hotel management industry is growing with leaps and bounds. Each year, a lot of hospitality-related jobs are injected into the economy. These jobs are offered not only by Indian firms but also by international hotel chains. Thus, Hospitality Management is a fruitful field to make a career in.

In order to make a future in the field of Hotel/ Hospitality Management aspirants need to pursue a course in the same from a reputed college. Interested candidates have the option to pursue an undergraduate (UG). Some common hotel management subjects that candidates are taught at the UG level include introduction to food & beverage service, kitchen operations management, cookery, front office management, management of hospitality organisations, etc.

3 Year Full Time Bachelor's Degree (B.Voc.) in Hospitality & Catering Management

  • A hotel manager, hotelier, or lodging manager is a person who manages the operation of a hotel, motel, resort, or other lodging-related establishment. Management of a hotel operation includes, but is not limited to management of hotel staff, business management, upkeep and sanitary standards of hotel facilities, guest satisfaction and customer service, marketing management, sales management, revenue management, financial accounting, purchasing, and other functions.

  • Students with a 10+2/12th in any stream can apply.
  • Students awaiting their 10+2/12th results can also apply.

Infrastucture And Labs

Basic Training Kitchen:- The basic training kitchen is fully equipped with modern kitchen appliances. This kitchen is used primarily to introduce the art of cookery to the students & it is launching pad for the new comers. Familiarity with the art & science of cooking is indeed is an essential part of hospitality operations.

Basic Training Restaurant:- a restaurant can be understood as a well-designed, consumer-friendly place where people sit and order food which is served to them by a waiter or a waitress. The Basic Training Restaurant is one of the unique features of our college. It is a proper restaurant equipped with all the cutlery, trolleys and equipment of a luxurious restaurant. The restaurant is laid out to perfection and is the site where students are introduced to the versatile subject of Food & Beverage Service. With a capacity of over 60 covers, this restaurant entices the students and captivates them into the aura of the hotel industry.

House Keeping: - A clean work area is much safer than a cluttered or dirty one, and all laboratory personnel must strive to maintain an orderly and safe laboratory setting as this impacts not only their safety but the potential safety of others who work/visit the lab. As an added safety precaution, be considerate and aware of custodial staff since the custodial staff generally are not as familiar with laboratory chemicals and their hazards as most laboratory workers.

Front Office :- Front office staff handles the transactions between the hotel and its guests. The staff receives the guests, handles their requests, and strikes the first impression about the hotel into their minds.

Training Bar :- cocktails, all taught by highly experienced and passionate industry experts. Serving real guests in our award-winning Restaurant at Birmingham College of Food and cocktail bar, you will develop a combination of soft and technical skills that will enable you to deliver outstanding customer care.

Modern Guest House :- guest houses are a type of inexpensive hotel-like lodging. In still others, it is a private home which has been converted for the exclusive use of lodging. The owner usually lives in an entirely separate area within the property and the guest house may serve as a form of lodging business.

Bakery:- A bakery is an establishment that produces and sells flour-based food baked in an oven such as bread, cookies, cakes, pastries, and pies. Some retail bakeries are also categorized as cafés, serving coffee and tea to customers who wish to consume the baked goods on the premises.
