Ashi Anand Charitable Trust was constituted by Anand family in the every lasting memory of Late Ashi Anand who died in a very tragic motor vehicle accident on 30th January, 1983. Ashi Anand was the son of Sh N.K Anand of Kapurthala. Sh N.K Anand allowed the use of the present school building and the land adjoining to it to the Ashi Anand Charitable Trust for 30 years.

The academic year begins on 1st april and ends on 31st March of the following year.
There are three major exams at the end of each term and monthly tests are also conducted. Reports cards are given to the parents. They can discuss their problems with tthe teachers on that day.
Parents Teachers meeting is held on fourth saturday of every month. Parents are requested not to disturb the teachers during school hours.
The school has a historical society, which is working under very able and widely awakened teachers. It arranges yearly tours to historical and educational places in the country.
